Aero Peek, Aero Shake and Aero Snap features on Windows 7
Windows 7! This was the much awaited software that we were looking for. Everybody was curious about what Microsoft will do next after launching Vista. Could there be any operating system that will go beyond the Windows Vista and make up drawback of Vista? Windows 7 is the answer!
Aero Peek, Aero Shake and Aero Snap: Windows 7 contains three new user interfaces namely, Aero Peek, Aero Shake and Aero Snap. When there are multiple windows of different applications opened on Desktop, Aero Shake helps you to quickly minimize all inactive windows. You have to select the window of the application you want to work. Drag the application’s title bar and shake it. You will see all other application windows are minimized. To bring back your windows to previous state, just shake your activated window’s title bar again.
Aero Peek shows you preview of your minimized applications on system tray. Aero Peek temporarily hides all open windows and shows preview of one particular window in full screen mode.
Windows 7 has brought innovation with Aero Snap option. This is really a cool way to resize your windows. Any active window can be maximized by dragging it on the top. Windows can be resized to half of the screen by dragging it from left or right edge.
