2) No vector graphics can be displayed in browsers or on internet unless they are converted to standard image viewing formats like .JPEG, .BMP, .PNG and .GIF.

3) Special graphical effects can be applied less in case of vector graphics. Photo editing software is used separately for that.

Vector graphics are widely used where image quality and outline is the main concern. Software like Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Autocad, 3Ds Max have gained popularity in printing, logo and graphics design and 3D modeling because of vector graphics drawing facility.
